So last Thursday, after the horrific school shooting in Winder, Georgia that wounded four people, wounded a dozen more, and traumatized everyone in the area, we found out more about the shooter. We found out that he had received an AR-15 as a Christmas gift from his father, and that he developed a total hatred for transgender people. In fact, CNN reported the content of the shooter’s social media account.
Now apparently the words “expressed frustration that transgender people were being accepted in society” was too complicated a sentence for some MAGA chuds, including the slimy Libs of Tik Tok account – operated by a MAGA extremist whose name I will not mention lest boils appear in my mouth.
So wait, are you saying that if someone is bullied, and the bully uses gay slurs to taunt the person, then that person is going to grow up and kill people out of revenge?
No. Just – no.
And that account isn’t the only one. Riley Gaines, a swimmer of some note – apparently as a college student, she tied for fifth place in the 200-meter freestyle swim at the 2022 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships, has held a nasty, vicious grudge against the woman who tied her for fifth place in the 200-meter freestyle, Lia Thomas. The fact that Lia Thomas is a transgender athlete – and who would later win the 500-yard freestyle at that same championship, making Lia Thomas the first transgender swimmer to win an NCAA championship – those facts have turned Riley Gaines into a nasty trans-phobe.

Because Riley Gaines added the words “lack of” to the quoted text, making it seem like the shooter was violently reacting to the “lack of acceptance of transgender people,” as if this was some sort of armed, violent uprising by angry trans killers. I think some sinister corners of the Internet refer to it as the “Transtifa,” a boring portmanteau that tries to do what these chuds couldn’t do with “Antifa.”
What I’m getting at here is that these clowns are finding any minuscule, microscopic, maybe-it’s-a-connection connection and turning this into an attack on trans people. This was about as predictable as a two-headed coin flip.
In fact, I predicted it in a blog post a few days ago. I mean, I credited the transphobia to Lauren Boebert, but I was close.
Yeah. These are times when I HATE being right. Ugh.

I’d read that Colt Gray’s parents are either divorced or separated, and Colt, living with his dad, bought into the usual garbage rhetoric, but the fact also exists that his mom was no saint herself. She has a police record, according to a Daily News article I read today. As I said before the problems with a lot of these kids start at home, and it’s due to a lack of communication and/or trust, especially if it’s true that Colt was bullied.
